Living in an apartment, you normally don’t have your own clothes dryer. The apartment complex may or may not have a laundry room, and even if they do, availability can be an issue. If not, you either have to use an expensive laundry service, or lug the clothes to the nearest laundromat.

The Laundry Alternative offers not one, but 6 types of apartment clothes dryer (and more are on the way). First, we offer 4 types of spin dryers, including two mini sized units. Our Mini Countertop Spin Dryer conveniently fits on your countertop and drains into the kitchen sink. We also carry several larger floor models, which allow you to dry larger loads and larger size individual items. Spin speeds range from 1600 for the Mini Countertop Spin Dryer, to 3200 for the fastest floor model. Spin dryers don’t get the clothes 100% dry, but very close to it. The higher end units remove much more water than a conventional washing machine spin cycle. 


The Solaris+ wall-mount clothes dryer gets the clothes fully dry, and folds up when not in use. It can dry up to 7 large items at a time and plugs into a regular household outlet. It’s gentler on the clothes than a conventional dryer, as the clothes are not tumbled, so your clothes will look nicer and last longer. It also has a cool dry cycle.
