The USA could save 6-10% of all home energy consumption simply by using spin dryers. That may seem like an outrageous statement but it’s true. Conventional tumble dryers are energy hogs, they use 5000+ watts and run for a long time. On the other hand, spin dryers use 100 TIMES less energy than conventional tumble dryers. A cycle is only about 3 minutes, so they are fast as well. To top it off they are much gentler on the clothes and don’t produce any lint. So your clothes will last longer and look nicer.

Unlike many other green products, it’s not a concept but rather product you can use today. Plus it’s very inexpensive and actually will pay for itself in around a year, depending on how often you do laundry. Compare that to solar panels and other more well-known green products, where it can take a full 10 years or longer to recoup your original investment.
